Children's Centres

Stoke-on-Trent Libraries are working with ten Children’s Centres to provide library services to children from birth to 5 years, right in the heart of the local community. 

These Children’s Centres are equipped with a range of library books, including board books, picture books and parenting books.  These books are available for families to take home – speak to staff in the Children’s Centre for more details.

A range of activities such as storytime, rhymetime and drop-in sessions are also available at each Centre.
 
The Children’s Centres currently offering library facilities are:

  • Hope Children’s Centre, Hanley;
  • Blurton Children’s Centre, Blurton;
  • Thomas Boughey Children’s Centre, Shelton;
  • Kingsland Children’s Centre, Bucknall;
  • Crescent Children’s Centre, Meir;
  • Stoke-on-Trent North Children’s Centre, Chell;
  • Westfield Children’s Centre, Longton;
  • Treehouse Children’s Centre, Bentilee;
  • Burslem Children’s Centre (Port Vale Football Club), Burslem; and
  • Fenton Children’s Centre, Fenton.
