A girl looking at shelves of books in a library

We've got cool reads for young people to chill out with, in a teenage-friendly space in most of our libraries. You'll also find:

  • a welcoming area specially designed for you;
  • friendly, helpful staff waiting to help you;
  • a great selection of books for all ages, cultures and interests;
  • dual language and large print books;
  • computers for Internet access and word processing;
  • Homework study support club (at selected libraries);
  • graphic novels, paperbacks and magazines;
  • novels with a variety of themes including fantasy, horror, crime, romance, and TV series; and
  • storytimes, reading games and fun activities.

More than just books

In most libraries you'll also find:

  • a wide range of events
  • DVDs;
  • talking books on CD and cassette;
  • toy packs;
  • music CDs; and
  • Playstation 2 and X-Box games.

Your ideas are always welcome. Let us know if there is anything you 'd like to see in the library. You can recommend books or activities you'd like to join in with.
