CEP (Cultural Education Partnership) Voluntary Chair

Here is a great opportunity to make a difference to the involvement of children & young people’s access to arts and culture in Stoke, and Newcastle-under-Lyme, through Stoke’s the City of Culture developments and as part of a Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) through working with Arts Connect and people from the arts, cultural, heritage and education sectors.

The role of voluntary Chair for the CEP which would involve representing this strategic group on the City of Culture’s Board (see Brief attached) will be key in shaping the arts and cultural landscape for children in this area for the next 20 years.

We are keen to find a Chair for this important group who has experience of working with children and young people, and knowledge of education and arts and culture sectors to work with partners to make a difference in Stoke.

Interviews:- 7th or 15th February 2017

VOICES is a partnership of voluntary, statutory, and private sector organisations that works to create cultural and systems change in the way that services are delivered for people experiencing a combination of homelessness, addiction, mental ill health and offending.

The post is funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund until 2022
