Youth Service Vacancies
We aim to help and support young people to understand and address the issues that affect their lives. Youth Work within the city offers young people a wide range of learning opportunities, including residential and outdoor education experiences, opportunities for international travel, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, youth forums and community action.
About these roles
As part of our team, you’ll help to deliver programmes of social education that will enable young people to develop self-confidence in their own opinions and values, equipping them to make more informed decisions and choices. We work with a diverse range of agencies and partners to support and meet the developmental needs of a diverse community of young people across the city aged between 13-19.
We encourage everyone in our team to work towards a local or national Youth Work qualification and as well as an ongoing need for Youth Workers and Team Leaders, we also have opportunities for you to become a Volunteer with our Youth Centres where you’ll gain experience that will enable you to become a qualified worker.
