Leisure

Whatever your energy levels or budget, we’ve something for you to enjoy in Stoke. Offering excellent leisure facilities, we employ a diverse range of people, including Receptionists and Recreation Assistants to Swimming, Keep Fit and Golf Instructors. We also provide apprenticeship schemes that offer the chance to learn and develop whilst receiving a salary and on-the-job experience.

Our wide range of facilities and services cover:

• bar and catering;
• beauty and sports therapy;
• conference and event hire;
• exercise and spinning classes;
• golf clubs;
• gyms;
• health spa;
• indoor and outdoor sports;
• international and national sporting events;
• recreation centres; and
• swimming pools.

Tourism

Responsible for the management, development and monitoring of tourism services, we maximise the contribution tourism makes to the economic regeneration of the city.

We’ve four service areas:

• Leisure Tourism Marketing – Advises the local tourism industry and shapes marketing campaigns and tourism development projects.
• City Centre Marketing and Events - Markets the city centre, sets up city centre events and is responsible for street trading and exhibition spaces.
• Tourist Information Centre - Provides front line visitor information at the Victoria Hall, Hanley.
• Staffordshire Stoke-on-Trent Conference Bureau – Develops business tourism marketing campaigns to market Staffordshire as a conference destination.
