Architects, planning and surveyor vacancies

Three archaeologists uncovering a Minton oven

The Council is at the very heart of the regeneration of Stoke, transforming all aspects of life from roads and schools to housing and new £multi-million developments. Actively involved in planning and delivering a diverse range of major projects, these teams safeguard our heritage and shape our ambitious vision for the future.

About these roles:

Architects - We play a key role in shaping the City’s built environment, providing professional advice and creative architectural solutions from brief to delivery. Our services include preliminary design advice, feasibility studies, specialist on-site surveys/investigations and statutory consent submissions.

Planning - We drive the creation of modern planning policy and transportation investment bids through the Local Development Framework. As well as passenger transport services, road safety education, training and publicity, we’re responsible for development control, land charges and a variety of building advisory services.

Surveyors - Responsible for ensuring that buildings throughout the city are safe for their occupants and the general public, our work focuses on public health and safety legislation relating to buildings and events. We’re proud to deliver efficient, responsive and value for money services.
