Loan Criteria

This project is being delivered in association with Staffordshire Housing Association, Art Homes Limited and Renew North Staffordshire.

You can apply if you are: 

• a home owner; and
• on one or more of the following income related or disability benefits:
  • income support;
  • housing benefit;
  • council tax benefit;
  • income based job seekers allowance;
  • attendance allowance;
  • disability living allowance;
  • industrial injuries disablement benefit;
  • war disablement pension;
  • pension credit;
  • working tax credit (which includes a disability element and where recipient has a relevant income of less than £15,050); or 

  • child tax credit where you have a relevant income of less than £15,050.

If you are a homeowner on a low income but don't claim any of the above benefits you may still be able to apply. This will be considered by a discretionary panel.
