Decent Homes

This project is being delivered in association with Staffordshire Housing Association, Art Homes Limited and Renew North Staffordshire.

Properties are eligible if they don't meet the Government's Decent Homes Standard. A decent home is one which is wind and weather tight, warm and has modern facilities, meeting the following four criteria:

• It meets the current statutory minimum standard for housing.

• It is in a reasonable state of repair.

• It has reasonably modern facilities and services.

• It provides a reasonable degree of thermal comfort.

Our team can visit and discuss the standard of your property and also advise what eligible works are needed to meet the decent homes standard.
