Funding
Funding and fundraising is vital to the success of a residents' association. Money is needed for the day to day running of an association and when putting on special events.
There are a number of ways in which a resident association can raise funds.
- Events such as a table top sale or raffle
- Sponsorship for a particular activity
- Applying to businesses for donations
- Applying to funding agencies
There are a large number of funding agencies available to which you can apply for funding. Each agency has differing levels of money to apply for and what they will give funding for. Some agencies may only give money to events that promote community spirit when others help with running costs.
