Weights and measures

We test the quantity of goods that are sold, test weighing and measuring equipment used by traders, and make sure that packing systems used by manufacturers are accurate.

We also provide a calibration service for local industry and test small items of weighing and measuring equipment for the general public.

Please note, calibration and testing services can only be provided by prior appointment.  Please telephone our contact centre on 01782 232065, to arrange this.
