Food Hygiene Training

The Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

This new and updated course replaces the previous "Basic Food Hygiene Course" and the "Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene"; although it is on the same level.

The subjects covered are:

  • Hazards to food
  • Illness from food
  • Temperature control
  • Personal hygiene
  • Premises design
  • Cleaning
  • Pest control
  • Food storage
  • Preparing and presenting food
  • Food safety control

At the end of the course there will be a mulitple choice exam.  To pass, you must get at least 20 of the 30 questions right.

We have had to put our courses on hold for the time being at Regulatory Services.  We will update this page when we start to run them again.
