Scheduled Ancient Monuments
There are five Scheduled Ancient Monuments in Stoke-on-Trent.
They are:
- The former Chatterley Whitfield Colliery
- Etruria Mill
- The Saxon Cross in Stoke
- Lawn Farm at Berryhill
- Hulton Abbey
These sites are of national importance and have the same protected status as the well known Stonehenge site in Wiltshire.
