Tell us what you think

We are always keen to hear local residents views of our services, whether they are good or they highlight areas for improvement. Adult and Community learning is no exception

Giving us a compliment
If we have done something well and you were particularly pleased with the service of a member of our staff we would like you to compliment them and encourage them to continue to provide a good service.

Making a complaint
If you have a complaint about our service and you would like an explanation, we would ask that you share your complaint with us and give us the opportunity to put it right for you and learn from it.

Giving us feedback
If you have accessed our website or service and you would like to give us feedback which is neither a compliment nor a complaint, or perhaps you have a suggestion for courses in the future or ideas on how we could improve our service, then we would also welcome hearing from you.

Please use the link on the right to go to our Compliments, Comments and Complaints pages.

Our Learner Panel
Adult and Community Learning have a formal process to review their learning provision and learners are an integral part of this process. If you are:

  • considering adult learning;
  • attending one of our courses;
  • have been on our courses in the past;
  • have views of our service that you wish to share;
  • have time to attend a Panel meeting twice a year for an hour;

then why not sign up to join our Learners Panels?

At the meeting, we will share our plans with you and ask you for your views. We also encourage you to tell us what steps we can take to improve our service to you. If you wish to be a member of our panels, then e.mail us your contact details today on adult.learning@stoke.gov.uk

Our Inspection
Adult and Community Learning strives to deliver high quality learning opportunities to help local residents improve their skills and prospects in life. So that the government can be satisfied that we do deliver a high quality service that is achieving what it sets out to do, we are subject to inspection. Our last successful re-inspection was carried out by the Adult Learning Inspectorate in December 2005.
