Meir Community Education Centre

Meir Community Education Centre is a purpose built centre offering Adult Education classes for everyone in and around the community of Meir.

It has a small and friendly staff but offers a wide range of courses through College in the Community, Workers Educational Association and some Self-Financing Classes.

It houses excellent facilities including purpose built cookery and sewing rooms, as well as an excellent hall that can be used for a variety of functions.

Courses available in September are:

• Craft Classes (Christmas Crafts and Wedding Crafts)
• Sewing Classes (Introduction to Sewing and Soft Furnishings)
• First Aid for the Treatment of Children and First Aid for the Treatment of Adults
• Nail Art
• Reflexology
• Look Good and Feel Fine (including Aromatherapy and Colour Therapy)
• Holistic Therapies and Relaxtion
• Keep Fit and Weight Loss
• Holiday Italian
• Cookery Classes (including Winter Warming Food, Cooking for Entertaining and Vegetarian Cookery)
