Family Learning in Stoke-on-Trent
Adult and Community Learning works in partnership with schools and other organisations
to offer a wide range of
Family Learning courses for children and their mums, dads or carers.
Our courses
acknowledge the key role of parents as the primary educators of their children and offer families the opportunity to spend
quality time together.
All of our courses are delivered in a friendly and relaxed way so that families have fun
learning together.
We have four menus of Family Learning courses, each aimed at a different key stage in school.
Toddlers age 2 - 4
KS1 age 4 - 7
KS2 age 7 - 11
KS3/4 age 11 - 16
Family English and Maths
courses are also available to help parents understand how their children are being taught literacy and numeracy in school
- see Family English and Maths.
