Executive and Members Board

Under Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s constitutional arrangements, the Executive is made up of the Elected Mayor Mark Meredith and the Chief Executive Officer, Chris Harman.

To ensure that there is greater political support for the decisions that need to be taken, and to help ensure that decisions are taken smarter and faster than before, we established the Executive and Members Board.

The Executive and Members Board is made up of the Elected Mayor plus ten Councillors, each of whom take lead responsibility for part of the council's work – a Portfolio.
