Glossary of Terms

Use this list for more information about words and terms used in the Community Safety Website:

  • ABC - Acceptable Behaviour Contract, of which there are three levels.  They are voluntary contracts for young people aged between 10 and 18.
  • ASBO - Antisocial Behaviour Order.
  • Local Centres - For local authority tenants to make enquiries about their tenancy.  Local Centres used to be called Area Housing Offices.
  • FRET - Fast Response Education Team.
  • PCA - Parental Control Agreement.
  • ISA - Individual Support Agreement.
  • YISP - Youth Inclusion Support Panel.
