Community Arts - Art in Health Mural

A project working in partnership with the NHS (National Health Service) which also involved Mitchell High and Holden Lane High Schools.
The “Reminiscence” project encouraging positive and creative interaction between young people, nursing staff, patients and patients families attending Bucknall Hospital. The project welcomed open discussion, co-operation and collaboration and has resulted in a mural that is “owned” by all involved.
The finished work is a catalyst for conversation, reminiscence and making friends. The therapeutic element being greatly valued by the NHS.
