Personalising your Ceremony

Whether you choose to get married in a Register Office or in Approved premises, there are many ways in which we can help to make your ceremony meaningful and personal to the two of you.

There is the opportunity for you to tailor your ceremony to suit your individual wishes - such as by the inclusion of additional words or poetry readings. You can discuss this with the Superintendent Registrar either at the time of giving notice or during the time prior to your wedding day.  Please click here to view possible readings and poems you may like to use.

If you are marrying at an Approved premise you will be asked to pay the registrar's fee a month before your marriage. This is usually a good time to make an appointment to discuss your requirements with the Superintendent Registrar.

Alternatively, write to us or email our office with your ideas and selections (Click here for our contact details).  You may also need to speak to the event organiser at the approved premises.
