About our Lodge Igniter

It was described as the most perfect motor car coil, winning the gold medal for the Allumage Pour Moteurs A Gaz at the 1908 Paris Exhibition.

This example was purchased with the financial assistance of the Museums and Galleries Commission.

This Model D igniter (as pictured above) was made in about 1907 by Lodge Brothers & Co.
