| Description | A great opportunity to get creative in this park this winter thanks to a series of six FREE sculpture workshops with local artists from ArtWaves. These will take place at Burslem Park Pavilion, and are kindly supported by Staffordshire Community Foundation. Insect-inspired wire sculpture workshops with artist Karen Boulton will take place at Burslem Park Pavilion 10am - 12pm on Tuesday 20 November, Wednesday 28 November and Wednesday 5 December. No booking is required, but the artists recommend spending an hour at least - or longer, of course. Sculptor Stuart Porter will also be inviting the public to get involved in making a peacock sculpture using a frame and recycled plastic bags. Stuart's workshops take place on 1, 8 and 15 December from 9.30 until 12.50. Again, all are welcome and you are welcome drop in during all or some of the sessions. This project is kindly supported by Staffordshire Community Foundation. |
