Carers Week 2013 - 10-16 June
Carers week is taking place on the 10-16 June. The theme this year is 'Prepared to Care?'. There will be a number of events held across the city, more details to follow.
Active Carers Forum
The Active Carers Forum, is a meeting which is held with carers on a monday of every 2 months, discussing a range of topics and issues. The group is held at Bentilee Neighbourhood Centre.
P.D. and S.I. and LD Carers Working Group
These are working groups which are held monthly, Carers are more than welcome to attend these groups. The Groups are held at various locations throughout the City.
North Staffs Carers Association
The North Staffs Carers Centre offer a warm and friendly relaxing enviornment and is for carers of all ages. it is a place for carers to obtain information, advice and have that well earned respite break. The centre invites all carers to use the facilities in a variety of ways including:
- Drop in service
- Workshops
- Activities
- Training
- Information point
- Social Events
- Support Groups
- Health and Wellbeing
- Alternative Therapies
