Stoke-on-Trent City Council offers a professional Landscape Design and Development service to both internal and external clients.
Landscape design focuses on the planning and design of the ‘external environment’ - in other words, the spaces
between and around buildings. The team gets involved with the design of all manner of improvement programs including:
- City centre and town centre projects
- Parks, open space, sport and play area developments
- Cycleways and green footpaths
- Highway corridor projects
- School grounds improvements
- Derelict land reclamation
Recent projects include the design and implementation of Heritage Lottery improvements to Burslem Park, design and
installation of destination playgrounds such as Central Forest Park, Tunstall Park and Longton Park, the
enhancements to Potteries Way, major proposed redesign of the public realm around the City Centre Retail Area,
complimentary landscape works to the University Quarter and successive gold awards for designs for the RHS Tatton
Park Show Competitions. Please refer to the team brochure below for more information.
