Tunstall market opened in 2001 with 60 stalls, after undergoing a major refurbishment.
Goods available in the market are perhaps to numerous to mention as each of the sixty stalls offers a wide range of commodities.

To tempt customers there is of course:
- high class butchers;
- cooked meats;
- oatcakes;
- bread;
- cheese;
- fruit and vegetables; and
- home made pies cakes and sweets;
There are stalls selling:

- jewellery;
- ladies gents and children's fashion;
- haberdashery;
- electrical goods; and
- books toys and computers.
Also available are:
- lingerie;
- videos;
- CDs;
- baby wear;
- footwear;
- bedding;
- bags pet food;
- greeting cards;
- health foods;
- figurines and fancy goods;
- garden ornaments; and
- crafts and party planning.
- Not to mention a hairdresser and of course an excellent cafe.
Tunstall market is sure to delight all those who visit.
Outdoor market
There are twelve outdoor pitches available on Tower Square on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday selling:
- flowers,
- fashion,
- fish,
- household goods,
- pet beds,
- jewellery,
- smoking accessories, and
- rugs.
There are also small catering pitches available Monday to Saturday for specialist caterers such as ice cream, donuts, or jacket potatoes. Call the market officer in the indoor market for more information.
