In July Gladstone Pottery Museum hosted Gladstonebury - a hugely successful Beer Festival. The museum is now holding a competition to find out where the souvenir glasses have ended up.
The festival was organised by the Longton Events Board and more than 1,000 people attended, enjoying live music and a choice of over fifty beers and ciders.
Each visitor was given a commemorative beer glass printed with an image of Gladstone’s iconic bottle ovens. Museum staff are keen to discover how far these glasses have travelled and are inviting the public to submit photographs of their glasses in their new surroundings. There will be prizes of annual museum passes for the ‘Most Original Photograph’ and the ‘Furthest Distance Travelled’.
To enter, post a photo on the Gladstone Pottery Museum Facebook site or email it to email@example.com the closing date is December 3.
