Over the past 100 years she will have seen the city, and indeed the world, change in many ways. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish Hilda an extremely happy birthday and hope that she enjoys her special day.”
Hilda’s daughter, Mo Pepper, from Smallthorne, said: “I’d just like to send my mum lots of love and wish her a happy birthday. She thinks the world of her family and her family has always been her life so it’s wonderful we can share the day with her.
